All of our official trainers have successfully passed the ECQA certification :

Prof. Serge TICHKIEWITCH has been the Scientific Coordinator of the VRL-KCiP NoE and is currently the President of the EMIRAcle association. He has been the former Director of the Industrial Engineering and Management School of Engineers at Grenoble INP. He was the initiator and director of the Integrated Design team of the 3S Laboratory, composed of 40 persons and the first General Director and founder of the French PRIMECA network. He has supported more than 20 PhD theses, published more than 130 papers in journals, books or proceedings of international conferences. His research interest is the methodologies and the tools for integrated and innovative product and system design and the modelling of the forging process. He has been the initiator and supervisor of the CoDeMo system, a cooperative Design Modeller used in cross-sectorial domain such as the design of wood furniture, the design of dies for extrusion aluminium profile or the integration of recycling in automotive industry.

Serge Tichkiewitch

Dr. Andreas RIEL is Innovation Manager of the EMIRAcle research association. He has 10 years of experience in automotive powertrain R&T and R&T management, with a focus on virtual and integrated collaboration methods for front-end loading of development activities and quality assurance, as well as innovation transfer from academic research partners to industrial applications. In academia, he has two years of experience in coordinating the VRL-KCIP Network of Excellence in innovative product and systems development, as well as 4 years of experience as the Program Manager of Innovation projects of the EMIRAcle association. He has successfully initiated and managed numerous European Projects both in FP6, FP7, and LLP.

Andreas Riel

Dr. Richard MESSNARZ is the Executive Director of ISCN LTD. He has a PhD from Graz University of Technology, Austria and he worked as a lecturer and researcher 6 years at this university. Dr Richard Messnarz has 22 years industry experience and is the chairman of EuroSPI, the coordinator of the EU Certified Innovation manager, the coordinator of the European Qualification Network, the moderator of task forces of 24 leading German companies, the editor of 7 books (IEEE, Wiley, Springer) on process improvement, and the director of ISCN since 1997. He is a principal ISO 15504 assessor working for firms like ZF Friedrichshafen AG, Magna, Continental, T-Systems, Giesecke & Devrient, etc..

Richard Messnarz

Pr. Alain BERNARD graduated in 82, PhD in 89, was associate-Professor, from 90 to 96 in Centrale Paris. From Sept. 96 to Oct. 01, he was Professor in CRAN, Nancy I, in the Integrated Design and Manufacturing team. Since 0ct. 01, he has been Professor at Centrale Nantes and Dean for Research from 07 to 12. He is researcher in IRCCyN laboratory (UMR CNRS 6597) in the Systems Engineering -Products-Performances-Perceptions team. His research topics are KM, PLM, information system modeling, interoperability, human safety modeling and evaluation, enterprise modeling, systems performance evaluation, virtual engineering, additive manufacturing, reverse engineering.  He supervised 23 PhD students, recently on extended enterprise modeling, simulation and performance evaluation. He published more than 250 papers in refereed international journals, books and conferences. He is vice-chairman of WG5.1 of IFIP (Global Product Development for the whole product lifecycle) and chairman of CIRP STC Design.




Mr. Christian KIND is head of the division Process Management. The relevant areas of his expertise include optimisation of organisations and processes by applying and adapting appropriate methods, organisational changes, and advanced information technologies. He is working on topics such as product creation and design methodologies; business processes management and product life cycle management (PLM) applications. He is member of the directory board of the European EMIRAcle network.



Pr. Lionel ROUCOULES is currently Professor at Arts et Métiers ParisTech Institute in the department of Design, Industrialisation, Risk and Decision. He is head of the LSIS-INSM research team. The context of his research is integrated design and collaborative IT platform in a global PLM vision. He proposed a DFM-synthesis approach which is now part of larger DFX by least commitment modelling concepts supported by a Model Driven Engineering platform for Virtual Product Development.




Mr. Konstantinos SMPAROUNIS, a new certified trainer
is working at the Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation (LMS) of the University of Patras in Greece and will be training body for iDesigner, helping the further dissemination of training about essential integration concepts during design.




Dr. Kusol PIMAPUNSRI, is assistant professor at King Mongkut University of Technology North Bangkok. After a bachelor and master in industrial engineering, he get a PhD in 2007 at Grenoble-Institute of Technology, G-SCOP Laboratory, on the subject: "Integrated Design of wood furnitures made of fiber or particle boards".
Their areas of interest is Engineering Design, Project Management and Knowledge Management.
